Weathervane Arts News
2026 Wrap-up
Thank you for helping make 2025 a year of joy and growth for Weathervane!
Some highlights included:
Concerts and workshops by touring artists Juan Carlos Marin Son Jarocho Band, Moira Smiley and the Rhizome Quartet, Tev Stevig, Kaethe Hostetter, as well as local favorites like John Hughes, O Ksenos, and Myrtle Street Klezmer;
Our third annual (and best yet!) World Music Festival;
Collaborating with Montague Public Libraries on the first year of the Montague Center Oral History Project;
And lots of fun from the Montague Marching Band!
We have a lot more in store for 2026. So far on the books we have NYC-based Balkan band Mountain Lions, a return visit from Moira Smiley, and our summer World Music Festival, with lots more to come.
As you may know, all of our programs are offered on a donation-basis, eliminating financial barriers for our audience members and participants. That means that we’re completely dependent on donations and grants. So if you’re able, please make a tax-deductible donation to Weathervane today!
Happy New Year,
Jesse Bay/Weathervane Community Arts
